New features added to Exchange
The scheme return notices for occupational defined contribution schemes, personal pension schemes and public service pension schemes are scheduled to be sent out between 2nd September and 31st October 2024.
The following new features have been introduced into Exchange in advance of the scheme return campaigns that will take place later in 2024.
If you access these areas, any data entered will be saved and will appear in the scheme return.
-
For Public Service Pension Schemes: Where the scheme has members who have defined contribution entitlements arising from additional voluntary contributions (AVCs), you will be able to provide details of the providers of these AVC benefits
-
For occupational defined contribution schemes:
- Where the scheme falls within scope for pensions dashboards, you will be able to confirm the pensions dashboards primary contact which will be one of the scheme trustees.
- The scheme will be asked to provide details about the number of members who have left the scheme. For schemes that have a total of 12 members or more, the scheme will also be asked to provide details on the value of assets that have left the scheme. The completion of these questions will be optional during the scheme return.
For schemes that have a total of 12 or more members, the scheme will be asked to provide details about the benefits provided under the scheme
-
Investment services: Where the scheme trustees have set objectives for an appointed investment consultancy provider, you will be able to confirm whether a performance review has been carried out and whether the objectives have been reviewed
We welcome your feedback on the use of any of these new features by sending your feedback to us by email to exchange@tpr.gov.uk
